How do I get to the venue?

RACV Royal Pines is located on Ross St in Benowa and is about a 30-minute drive from the Gold Coast airport and 1 hour from the Brisbane airport. Click here for directions.

Do I need to purchase any meals or drinks at the conference?

All meals are included for the entire duration of the conference. During the day, you’ll receive tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. If you’re attending the night events you’ll receive dinner, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for the conference, Welcome Party on the Green and the Night of the Dead Party at Movie World is smart casual. The Awards and Gala Extravaganza is a black tie event so dress to impress!

Is there anything I must bring?

We suggest bringing along some business cards for networking. Other than that, all you need is your energy, ambition and dancing shoes!

When will the exhibitor area be open?

The exhibitor area will be open every day on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.00am and will close upon conclusion of the conference each day.

What happens if I need to cancel my ticket?

Unfortunately, there are no refunds on conference tickets. You can check out terms and conditions here.

Any other important things I should know?

Please be aware, there will be bright strobe lights during the Gala dinner. If you are photosensitive, you must email events@tourisminnovators.com.au to let us know.

Is there parking available? Is there a cost?

There is lots of free parking available at the venue for guests and visitors and it’s well signed but if you do have any issues the reception staff will be able to point you in the right direction.

I have dietary requirements, who should I tell?

Please email events@tourisminnovators.com.au as soon as possible so we can cater to your requirements.

What will the weather be like?

The weather forecast is warm and sunny for the duration of the conference. Please note, while it’s warm during the day in June, it can be a bit chilly in the morning and evening so make sure you bring some warm clothes as two of the evening events are held outdoors.

How do I register my attendance once I arrive?

Registration will take place in the RACV Royal Pines Lobby. If you’re attending Guru Academy, registration is on the Tuesday. If you’re joining us for the conference only, registration is on the Wednesday morning from 8.00am.
